Which languages can be translated?
Documents can be translated from and into all major languages.
How can documents be sent?
Documents available only in hardcopy can be sent by mail or courier or by fax. Documents available in electronic form can be sent to this e-mail address. Please include all the information we will need to contact you.
Can documents be sent by e-mail for a quotation?
Yes. Send us an e-mail and attach the file or files to the message along with an explanation of what is required.
Is there a limit on the size of files that can be sent by e-mail?
Theoretically there is no limit. In practical terms if the size of the documents is greater than the capacity of a CD and cannot be compressed, please contact us.
Which file formats can be sent?
Word-processing files (if in doubt save in RTF format), files created by most desktop-publishing programs, files created by presentation programs, spreadsheet programs, CAD files (if in doubt save in DFX format), database files (if in doubt export a tab-delimited or comma-delimited file), text files, and files created by most graphics programs can be sent in electronic form.
How are completed documents returned?
After translation, documents can be returned in hardcopy by mail or courier, by fax, or in electronic form in a number of different formats.
Can previously translated documents be sent for possible re-use of text?
Yes. In some cases we can mine translations from previous documents. Contact us for more information and details.
How can payment be made?
Payment can be made by check or credit card. Payment by credit card is required for work performed for clients outside of the United States.
Are documents translated by machines or people?
Individuals perform the translation using software tools specifically designed for translators.
